Designed to elicit cries of “AGAIN!” as soon as you turn the last page, this comedic rhyming story follows two children on their neighborhood walk.

They’re hoping to see dogs, and they are NOT disappointed. As they keep count along the way, they plant the seeds of early math concepts, and their repeated chant with each new dog offers young readers the rare thrill of being allowed to shout.

This story is an adventure at a scale kids can recognize from their everyday lives, and grants them permission to go ahead and wish their biggest wishes, even if they seem impossible.

There are errands to run! It's time for a walk! Roll out the stroller! Let's hit the block!

But before we get out there, what do we say?

How many DOGS will we see today?!
